Friday 16 February 2018

Thanks to all the different people, groups and organisations who took part in Your Community Cares yesterday evening and the Community Engagement Forum which followed.
DHI, S. Glos Council, Next Link, Neighbourhood Watch, Jacobs Well, Dodington Parish Council, Chipping Sodbury Town Council, our local Police beat teams and St. Nix Church.
We felt it was a really positive evening but most especially hope it was helpful for people who live locally and love where they live.
If you were not able to attend but would like further information about any of the topics covered in Your Community Cares then please do let us know as we have lots of info in the AAG Office, alternatively do contact the relevant organisation and let them help if there is something you need.
Attached photo is of the AAG desk 'the morning after the night before' - as with any good do, a bit of tidying up (thats not a moan it was worth it).
Lots of info - do drop in if you would like some.
If your quick, there may be some biscuits left

Your Community Cares - Event and Opportunity this evening (Thursday 15th of February 2018)

Have you ever thought that the part of Yate you live in could use a Neighbourhood Watch Group?
Do you know anyone who may be struggling with Addiction or a family suffering because of it?
Are there things going on in your area which you don't think are good for you or your neighbours? e.g. Anti-Social Behaviour?
Do you know someone (Man, Woman or children) who is suffering because they are in a violent relationship?
If you answered 'yes' to any of these questions - please do consider coming along to the event which we have arranged for this evening (details in attached picture) as there will be the opportunity to pick up information about or discuss any and all of the above situations with professsionals who care.
Whilst this is a public event there will be a coinfidential space available to talk things through - should you desire such an option.
If you would like to know more about the event this evening or about any of the services mentioned above then please do contact the AAG Office: 07890 569196
